CERES @ the TAGEM meeting

CERES was introduced to academicians, researchers and technocrats during annual workplan meeting of Turkish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock-Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies. The 2017 Annual meeting of Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies (TAGEM) was held in Antalya (20-24 February) to discuss research projects and work plan of affiliated research institutes. Over 50 academicians and researchers from different universities and TAGEM affiliated institutes were present in the meeting. Beside research project proposals, visionary presentation on challenges facing fisheries and aquaculture sectors were also presented. CERES was introduced by Dr. Ferit RAD (Mersin University) within the context of potential impact of climate change on aquaculture in the Mediterranean and the need for a proactive approach in addressing this challenge.
